As most know, the fastest SW vessel, The Millennium Falcon, cannot exceed 0.5 points past light speed. ST vessels from the newer series can reach warp 9.975. Still, SW ships can move across space just as good. It makes me consider the possibility that "light speed" may refer to Trans-warp velocity. Hmmm...
